Get QlikSense session information – am I logged in?

If you want to make a quick check if you are logged in against QlikSense, you can perform the test below. This is practical when e.g. developing something based on Web Ticketing.

Syntax: http//my.sense.site/virtualproxy/qps/user

As an example, the QlikSense UN demo site returns the following information against the query:

userDirectory “NONE”
userId “anonymous93b4da14-e812-4476-94f8-4c0a5f29298a”
session “inactive”

Try it youself on the QlikSense UN demo site with

https://sense-demo.qlik.com/legacy/qps/user

‘legacy’ is the virtual proxy.
