The AWS Access Key Id you provided does not exist in our records

While performing an inner loop of querying an S3 bucket’s contents, I encountered the following error:

An unhandled exception of type ‘Amazon.S3.AmazonS3Exception’ occurred in AWSSDK.Core.dll
Additional information: The AWS Access Key Id you provided does not exist in our records.

This seemed strange as the Access key and the Secret Access key were both correct.

I had implemented the following code in the inner loop:

GetObjectResponse objectResponse = new AmazonS3Client(s3Object.BucketName, awsAccessKey, awsSecretAccessKey).GetObject(requestObject);

How to share the internet connection on your flight with other devices or .. people (Win 10) and how to bypass Skype blocking

Recently many airlines have tightened the rules for internet connections on their (long haul) flights. Some airlines offer free internet for Gold or Diamond, Platinum members for an hour, some grant it for the whole flight. I happen to fly quite a lot, so I have an Emerald tier which mostly gives me a free internet throughout the entire flight. Prevent Windows 10 from sending ‘telemetry’ information

What I find amazing is that as a Windows 10 user you are forced to allow Win 10 to submit diagnostics data to Microsoft e.g. in the event of a crash. This can include very confidential information such as your open files. Only users with the Enterprise version are able to disable diagnostics permanently.

In order for you to disable Diagnostics, please add the following registry key using e.g. regedit:
